About the event
Learn some basics about mindfulness and how to train the mind so that you pay more attention to the present moment experience. We can notice and become aware of our immediate experience, just paying attention to what is here and now, with kindness.
We live lives that often are busy, rushed, full with distractions. Nothing wrong with a busy mind, though we may get worried or anxious about future events or past experiences. Our minds can move so easily into a thick stream of thinking, which may affect our mood, emotions and how we react to people near us. How about learning a way to relate differently to our thoughts, learn more to simply 'be', relax, and pause. It is possible with a little bit of practice. Meet us for 4 weeks in November and we may continue in 2025.
