About my journey to Mindfulness
Mindfulness, the practice of paying attention to the present moment on purpose and without judgements, came into my life in my twenties, when I started a Tai Chi movement class which taught me about moving with awareness of breath.
Various books about 'the power of now' and lots of mindful dancing pointed me in the direction of mindfulness and meditation.

Many years later and after starting a family, I felt a greater need for living with more presence, calm and ease to support my well-being.
The years with our young children and giving so much of myself, encouraged me to go on a Mindfulness Based Living Course in 2015 with the Mindfulness Association in Edinburgh.
This personal journey with mindfulness has continued ever since. In 2017-2018 I trained to teach mindfulness in schools and in 2019 I finished the MBLC teacher training path with the Mindfulness Association.
In August 2023 I registered with BAMBA (British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches) and follow the Good Practice Guidelines. Find out more on www.bamba.org.uk.
